HyComp manufactures WearCompâ
and FibreCompâ composite components for can manufacturing
equipment. Carbon fiber plus a naturally lubricious resin give our composites unique
properties. These include superior mechanical strength and wear characteristics, combined
with a low coefficient of friction and excellent dimensional stability. HyComp composite
bushings, manifold and wear bands last as much as 20 times longer than traditional
products. This extended life improves plant efficiency by reducing maintenance costs and
unscheduled downtime.

Trimmers – Due to the long life and grease free features in trimmers, our
self-lubricating bushings improve trimming quality while reducing slivers and whiskers
