Our capabilities and experience in High Temperature Engineered Thermoplastics such as PEEK, Torlon®, Ultem® and PPS are unmatched in the industry. Most of the compounds that are processed at our facility include Carbon Fiber, Glass or Aramid reinforcement to provide the best mechanical properties. HyComp routinely performs over molding and insert molding in today’s most advanced materials.
 
Compression and Transfer Molding
Custom Plastic Injection Molding HyComp manufactures custom compression and transfer molded thermoset parts for various industries. Our advanced equipment in this area allows us to mold a wide variety of custom shapes, stock plates, and custom bushings. We have a full range of machines from 25-500 tons with temperature process capabilities exceeding 700°F. Our transfer molding capabilities allow us to provide our customers even greater part design flexibility allowing for greater detail and more near net features in their part design.
 
Proprietary Composites & Self-Lubricating Bearings
Self-Lubricating Composite Bearings HyComp's materials, WearComp®, WearComp® 200, FibreComp®, and H310® were developed for high-temperature/ high-performance self-lubricating bearings, wear items and H320® for thermal/electrical insulators. These materials represent the best possible solution high-performance long-life bearing applications. The materials feature high temperature resistance up to 600°F, low coefficients of friction, high compressive and impact strength, excellent chemical resistance, and unique self-lubricating properties.
 
Roll Polishing Systems
Roll Polishing System HyComp's Roll Polishing System is a proprietary technology developed to improve strip quality and increase mill production through the elimination of roll pickup and oxidation. This technology is a real-time, in-line articulating system that continuously cleans the roll surface during mill production. The technology has been successfully utilized worldwide in the processing of high quality strip used in the manufacture of products such as automobiles, appliances, office furniture, and beverage cans. The efficiency of the HyComp System begins with the polishing block. The unique combination of shape and construction produces a polishing action that requires only minimal pressure for operation. The material make up for the blocks is custom blended for each application to meet its particular requirements. The blocks are connected to the main polishing assembly with either a torsion or leaf spring to provide flexibility for roll contour and vibration.
