WearComp®, WearComp® 200, & FibreComp® are the proprietary composite self-lubricating bearings produced by HyComp. These materials have been developed using sophisticated resin chemistry and fiber know how, utilizing years of experience in the processing of high performance resins. The manufacturing process for these products is truly integrated and starts with the manufacturing of the base resin and finishes with the final machining of the bearing in both flat and round shapes.
WearComp® and FibreComp® are marketed towards industrial markets where equipment bearing life is important and our H310® & H320® materials have been successfully deployed on aerospace programs for the past 20 years. |

WearComp® - Ideal for low speed, high load, high
impact applications |
| |
 |
WearComp is a proprietary blend of a high temperature
polymer and 1” chopped carbon fiber. This unique combination provides, a low coefficient of friction, outstanding mechanical strength, and wear resistance at temperatures up to 600°F. |
|
| |
WearComp® 200 - Ideal for medium speed, high load, high
impact applications |
| |
 |
WearComp is a proprietary blend of a high temperature polymer, 1" chopped carbon fiber, & graphite. This unique combination provides, a lower coefficient of friction,
outstanding mechanical strength, and wear resistance at temperatures up to 600°F. |
|
| |
FibreComp® - Ideal for high speed, medium load, low
impact applications |
| |
 |
FibreComp is a proprietary blend of a high temperature polymer, milled carbon fiber, & graphite. This unique combination provides, our lowest coefficient of friction,
superior mechanical strength, and wear resistance at temperatures up to 600°F. |
|
| |
 |
FibreComp is also ideally suited as an alternative to Vespel® SP-1 & SP-21 as well as Meldin® 7001 & 7021 where cost and performance are a concern. |
|
| |
| H310® and H320® are HyComp’s
Aerospace Grade Materials designed for the most demanding applications. |
| |
 |
H310® - is a proprietary blend of a high temperature thermoset polymer and 1" chopped carbon fiber. This unique combination provides the highest strength at temperatures
up to 600°F |
|
| |
 |
H320® - is a proprietary blend of a high temperature thermoset polymer and 1" Glass Fiber. This unique combination provides the highest strength at temperatures up to 600°F. This material is best suited for high temperature heat shields and high temperature electrical insulation applications. |
