What HyComp brings to this business is top-quality tool
design and molding, followed by precision secondary machining of the molded parts to tight
tolerances. Our state-of-the-art injection molding machines are computer controlled to
precisely control cycle temperature, speed and pressure. The molded parts are held
strictly to customers specifications. Materials are principally commercially
available engineered thermoplastics such as PEEK, Torlonâ,
Ultemâ, PPS, PVDF, PC, and Nylon. HyComp processes these
materials unreinforced or reinforced with carbon fiber, aramid fiber, or glass.
Capabilities include molding 20-400 tons, material desiccant drying, postcuring to 500°F,
and extensive secondary machining.
TORLON is a registered trademark of BP Amoco Polymers.
ULTEM is a registered trademark of GE Plastics.
